Arrival Information
NU Car Rentals service is provided by Andys Auto Rentals in Brisbane. Please remember to provide us with your flight details and email at time of booking. If you are arriving at the Brisbane International Terminal please collect your luggage then call 00-617-3868-1935. After clearing Customs and entering the Arrivals area turn left and proceed to the far end of the Terminal to the Coach Departure doors. Take the ramp to the bottom and proceed to Bays 3 and 4 where our white NU Car Rental-Andys Car Rental courtesy shuttle will pick you up. For arrival at the Domestic Terminal collect your luggage and exit the airport. Proceed over the Skywalk which connects the Terminal to the Bus Pick Up area- Zone section C. Our courtesy van will pick you up and take you to our location. Vehicles are held for up to 2 hours after the arrival time on your reservation. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO PROVIDE US WITH YOUR FLIGHT DETAILS AT TIME OF BOOKING. Out of hours pick up or drop off is available with a 55.00 USD out of hours fee for each.
Insurance
Collision Damage Waiver-CDW limits liability to the excess or deductible for the rental vehicle in case of accident or theft. The renter will be responsible for the excess up to 3750AUD. A deposit will be taken at the time of rental and is returned upon completion of the rental if there is no damage to the vehicle. The deposit amount will be 750.00AUD for all cars and 5000.00AUD for all specialty vehicles. If you take our CDW there will be no deposit for the car and 500.00AUD deposit for the specialty vehicle. Our CDW is 12.95AUD per day for Economy Compact Intermediate Fullsize and Premium cars and Standard SUVs. Your responsibility in case of damage or theft of the vehicle is 500.00AUD. CDW for Premium SUV and Standard Fullsize and Premium vans is 17.95AUD per day and your responsibility is 990.00AUD. CDW for the Luxury Car and Intermediate Standard and Luxury Convertibles is 35.95AUD per day and your responsibility is 990.00AUD. Additional and Supplemental coverage is available. Please inquire at the counter. Coverage is taxable.
Special Equipment
Baby, Toddler and Infant seats are available - $7.50AUD/day or a maximum of $50.00AUD/rental. Request at the rental counter.
Fuel
All cars are provided with fuel and should be returned with the same amount of fuel as received to avoid a refueling surcharge of 2.50AUD per litre. Prepaid fuel option is available - please ask at the counter. No credit is given for unused fuel.
One Ways
One way drops between Brisbane and the Gold Coast are allowed. A drop fee of 40.00USD will apply.
Geographic Restrict.
Vehicles are offered unlimited travel within a 150 mile radius of the rental location pick up point. Outside the 150 mi radius they will be charged 0.39AUD per mi. The Luxury car and all convertibles include 124 mi of travel per day. A charge of 0.39AUD per mi over 124 free mi a day applies. Vehicles are only allowed to be driven on paved roads and cannot be driven on beaches or off road- to do so will void any insurance coverage.
Driver Qualification
All drivers must meet our minimum age requirement of 21 up to a maximum of 75 years of age. They must present a valid passport and major credit card in their own name and a current valid Drivers License from their country of residence. We accept US, Canada, EU, International and other valid drivers licenses in Roman alphabet. All policies and drivers requirements apply to any additional driver and their names must appear on the rental agreement at the time of rental. Each additional driver will be charged an Additional Driver fee of 3.95AUD per day. Underage drivers 21-24 years of age will pay an Underage Fee of 10.00AUD per day. The age restrictions for driving the standard size convertible are 30 years to 75 years of age and for the intermediate size convertible 25 years to 75 years of age. Luxury car age restrictions are 30 years to 75 years.
Credit Card Guarantees
If you have reserved a pay on arrival rental, a credit card guarantee is required in order to reserve a vehicle. This credit card will be validated at the time of reservation and may show a 1.00USD temporary authorization on your credit card statement. However, no actual guarantee fee will be incurred unless the Customer is a No Show; in which case a No Show fee equivalent to a one day rental or a minimum of 50.00USD will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. If your plans change you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same site on which you made your reservation at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. If you reserved a Prepaid (Pay Now) reservation, you will be charged a Booking Fee equivalent to the total charges of your reservation. The Credit Card used for prepayment MUST be presented at the rental counter at time of pick up. This is a non-refundable reservation and may not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or a credit.
Inclusive Rate Pkg.
Should you purchase an Inclusive Rate Package please note that CDW, as well as Taxes and Fees ARE included in your rate. NOT included in your rate is the Fuel, Underage Drivers Fee, Additional Driver's Fee, any special equipment such as Child seats, GPS or cell phones. Should an accident or theft occur to the vehicle you will be responsible for the Excess amount of 3,750.00AUD for all cars up to the 8 pass. and 5,000.00AUD for the PVAR, SFAR, PFAR, ITAR, STAR, LTAR and the LCAR.
Payment Options
We accept American Express, Visa & MasterCard. The card MUST be in the Renter's own name. Debit cards and Cash are not accepted. Charges associated with the base rate are those applicable at the time of booking and could be subject to change. Only mandatory charges are included in the total charges displayed for your rental. An excessive cleaning fee will apply when cleaning in excess of normal wear and tear is required - for example, the car is covered in dirt or the interior is littered with trash. The fee is 50.00AUD. If shampooing the seats or carpets is required the excessive cleaning fee is 150.00AUD.
Legal Notice
NU Car Rentals provides a car rental affiliate reservation system and acts as an agent for the convenience of you the customer and the local owned and operated car rental firm. We use reasonable commercial efforts to insure the accuracy of all information posted on our website or distributed to other websites. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. The terms, conditions and prevailing law covering the rental shall be those stated on the rental contract presented at the actual rental location.
Additional Information
If you booked a Pay Now Special rate you will be charged in US dollars a nonrefundable deposit equivalent to the amount of the rental charges for the reserved period. Charges will appear on your statement as NU Car Rentals Website San Antonio, TX. Additional charges will be collected at rental in local currency A rental day consists of a 24 hour period. Changes to the reservation may result in a change of rate or an additional fee. There are no refunds for early returns. If After hours returns are permitted the renter will be billed to the start of the next business day and is responsible for the rental vehicle until inspected by a company representative. Please inquire at the rental counter for further details. Note there is no shuttle service available outside hours of operation Reservations for multiple vehicles must be made in different names or may not be honored. Smoking in vehicles or returning the vehicle where special cleaning may incur an additional fee per local policy. Makes and models are examples only and are not guaranteed.
