Upon Arrival
NU Car Rentals service in Orlando is provided in cooperation with Action Car Rental. Upon arrival please call 407-240-2700 for our courtesy shuttle. After collecting your luggage please meet us at our assigned pick up space -A11 on the A side of the Terminal or B12 on the B side. Terminal C pick up is C277, C278. Reserved vehicles not prepaid will be held 2 hours during office hours. Prepaid vehicles are held until closing. A reservation reinstatement fee of 5.00 to 25.00USD per day will apply for late arrivals. Vehicles may not leave Florida. Customer agrees to pay a No Show charge on the credit card used for the reservation if not cancelled 48 hours in advance.
Insurance Excess Deposit
Security Deposit A security deposit of 1000.00USD with the exception of Florida Residents will be held at the start of the rental. A security deposit of 2000.00 USD will be held for all Florida Residents at the start of the rental. Florida Residents must provide proof of Insurance and bring declaration page. EXCESS The renter is responsible for all damage or loss to the rental vehicle. This responsibility may be reduced or eliminated. For additional information please inquire at our rental counter.
Special Equipment
We offer the following equipment for rental: Child Seat $9.99 per day - specify infant, toddler or booster GPS system $7.99 per day Prepay Tolls $13.99 per day-admin fee is $35.00 per day for toll violations. Quantities may be limited Request at the rental counter. All fees are taxable.
Fuel
Fuel is not included in the rate. Vehicles will leave with a full tank of fuel. Vehicle must be returned full to avoid any refueling charges upon return.
One Way Rentals
Vehicles may be returned to other Orlando locations with advance notice and payment of a one way drop fee. To obtain a quote for the fee, select the desired return location when reserving your car.
Geographic Restrictions
Vehicles may not leave the state of Florida.
Driver Qualifications
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid photo drivers license from the state/country of residence at the time of rental. If drivers license is in a language other than English an International Drivers Permit is recommended. Underage drivers 18-25 years of age fee is 20.00 per day. Additional drivers must meet the same qualifications as the primary driver. The additional driver fee is 5.99/day. All fees are taxable. We do not rent to local residents.
Credit Card Guarantees
If you have reserved a pay on arrival rental, a credit card guarantee is required in order to reserve a vehicle. This credit card will be validated at the time of reservation and may show a 1.00USD temporary authorization on your credit card statement. However, no actual guarantee fee will be incurred unless the Customer is a No Show; in which case a No Show fee equivalent to a one day rental or a minimum of 50.00USD will be charged to the credit card provided as a guarantee. If your plans change you can avoid this fee by cancelling your reservation through the same site on which you made your reservation at least 48 hours in advance of your scheduled rental time. If you reserved a Prepaid (Pay Now) reservation, you will be charged a Booking Fee equivalent to the total charges of your reservation. The Credit Card used for prepayment MUST be presented at the rental counter at time of pick up. This is a non-refundable reservation and may not be modified. If you do not pick up your rental when scheduled your reservation will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund or a credit.
Inclusive Rate Pkg.
Should you purchase an Inclusive Rate Package please note that Collision and Theft waivers, as well as Taxes and Fees are included in your rate. You will remain responsible for any coverage excess as listed under Insurance or Damage Waiver. NOT included in your rate is the Fuel, Underage Drivers Fee, Additional Drivers Fee and special Equipment such as baby seats GPS or cell phones, any additional coverage or any other option. Renters relying on credit card or third-party website purchase coverage, are financially responsible for all vehicle damage or loss,all repairs and or vehicle replacement prior to departure. Renter may seek reimbursement from their insurance provider. Be advised, the purchase of additional rental vehicle coverage at the time of rental is optional and final. Refunds cannot be issued.
Credit & Debit Card Policy
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Debit cards are not accepted from Florida residents. If not using a credit card after completing your reservation contact Action Car Rental for approval at 407-240-2700 - a qualification screening is required. Additional restrictions may apply. Renters using . a debit card are required to purchase PDW at 9.99USD/day to cover the first 500.00USD in case of an accident. A security deposit will be taken on all rentals until vehicle is returned on time with no damage. Deposit depends on terms of the rental. Deposit for out of state renters is 300USD.
Legal Notice
NU Car Rentals provides a car rental affiliate reservation system and acts as an agent for the convenience of you the customer and the local owned and operated car rental firm. We use reasonable commercial efforts to insure the accuracy of all information posted on our website or distributed to other websites. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. The terms, conditions and prevailing law covering the rental shall be those stated on the rental contract presented at the actual rental location.
Additional Information
All our vehicles are Non-Smoking vehicles. All vehicles are inspected upon return. If vehicle must be cleared of smoke odor and residue a min 50.00US up to a max of 250.00US cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card used at the time of rental. A rental day consists of a 24 hour period commencing with the date and time indicated on the rental contract. Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or an additional fee. There are no refunds for early returns. If you require multiple vehicles for the same dates or overlapping periods, please make sure to use the actual name of the driver for each booking. Otherwise the duplicate name reservations will be automatically cancelled. We cannot accept responsibility for cancelled reservations. Makes and models are examples only and are not guaranteed. Other restrictions may apply. If you booked a Pay Now Special rate you will be charged in US dollars a non refundable deposit equivalent to the amount of the rental charges for the reserved period. Additional charges will be collected in local currency at the time of payment.
