Upon Arrival
NU Car Rentals service is provided in cooperation with HN RENT A CAR in Ramon Villeda Morales Intl Airport in San Pedro Sula. We are located in the Airport Terminal. After exiting Baggage Claim turn left and proceed to the Rental Car Area and look for our NU Car Rental-HN Rent A Car counter. If your flight detail was sent with your booking your car will be ready and you just sign your contract. If you did not send the flight detail and your flight was delayed after hours please call our After Hours number 97301465 within Honduras and we will be happy to assist you. If you are out of the country please add the country code 504 before the number. During operating hours vehicles are held up to 2 hours after the arrival time on your reservation.
Insurance
Collision Damage Waiver -CDW- is 10.00USD per day to cover loss or damage to the rental vehicle with a 2000USD deductible. Fast Rent A Car has the right to void such coverage making the renter fully liable for all damages if the vehicle was used or driven under the influence of alcohol or drugs or any violation of Honduran traffic laws. CDW does not cover damage or loss of tires and windows. Tire and Window Coverage- T and W -is 5.00 USD per day for damage to the 5 tires and all windows of the rented vehicle, except the front window. Loss of tires is not covered. Supplemental Liability Coverage - SLI is 5.00USD per day for coverage of damage done to a third party vehicle.
Special Equipment
Baby Toddler and Infant seats are available - 5.00USD per day up to 20.00USD per week. Request at the rental counter or call for availability.
Fuel
The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as when rented to avoid a refueling charge of 15USD plus the cost of the fuel. As an option we offer prepaid fuel and you will not have to worry about fuel amounts. Please ask at the rental counter for prices.
One Ways
One ways are available with prior authorization and a drop fee which will vary according to the number of days rented and the drop off location.
Geographic Restrict.
Our rental vehicles are not allowed to leave the country of Honduras. Vehicles are only allowed to be driven on paved roads and driving on beaches is not permitted - to do so will void any insurance coverage. Please ask at the rental counter for a map to guide you.
Driver Qualification
All drivers must present a valid drivers license. Minimum age for renters is 21 and maximum age is 75. Additional drivers are 10USD per day each.
Inclusive Rates
If you purchased an Inclusive Rate Package please note that Collision Damage Waiver and Supplemental Liability Insurance as well as taxes and fees are included in your rate. You will remain responsible for the 2000 USD deductible for the CDW. Not included in your rate is Fuel Special Equipment such as baby seats and GPS or any other available options.
Credit/Debit
We accept American Express Visa and MasterCard. A security deposit will be held at the start of the rental. Eligible Debit cards are accepted at the time of rental and must have a MasterCard or Visa logo. The estimated amount of the rental plus an additional amount held as security will be assessed against your debit card at the time of rental. These funds will no longer be available for immediate use and may take up to 30 days - depending on your bank - to become available. We will not be responsible for any returned checks insufficient charges or bank fees related to this process. Credit and debit card security is 1500 USD. Cash is accepted for rental however a major Credit or Debit Card is still required to qualify. Vouchers and prepaid cards are not accepted. The hirer agrees to pay the rent of the vehicle at full cost. Once the contract has been signed if the renter decides to return such vehicle before the contracted time the renter is responsible to pay the contracted amount in full. All additional equipment and fees are taxable.

NU Car Rentals provides a car rental affiliate reservation system and acts as an agent for the convenience of you the customer and the local owned and operated car rental firm. We use reasonable commercial efforts to insure the accuracy of all information posted on our website or distributed to other websites. Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of rental charges paid to us. The terms, conditions and prevailing law covering the rental shall be those stated on the rental contract presented at the actual rental location.
